1) All streams within harvest area are considered Small Type-Np and must be buffered with a 35′ R-ELZ. R-ELZ buffers allow merch timber to be harvested up to the high water mark on Type-N streams, however understory vegetation and <6″ conifer must be retained within 35′ of stream on both sides.
