Williams is a small community nestled in the ecologically diverse Siskiyou mountains of Southern Oregon. The valley is home to 30,000 acres of forest, as well as certified organic farms growing vegetables, seeds and herbs for national and international markets. The valley contains 300 miles of streams, including 71 miles of prime fish habitat, and is a fertile environment that sustains its people and wildlife.
For decades the Williams community has supported a movement to protect the forests against degradation and to ensure their health.
