We are having another protest to stop BLM from logging our forests .
The timber sale date is May 25th.
Their plan is to commercially log 830 acres of late successional reserve, reducing the canopy to 30%,
creating 2 acre clear cuts, drying out the soil, reducing our water supply, increasing green house gasses, destroying wildlife habitat and our recreation lands.
We need to keep the pressure up to halt this old growth timber sale.
The old growth is our best defense against the changing climate.
